THE SCHOOL

Feltham Hira School has been operating for the last ten years. We cater for a variety of levels starting from Reception to GCSE. Our sessions are 3 hours long and are divided into 3 lessons. An hour and 15 minutes of Arabic, 45 minutes of Adhaab and Tarbiyah and 45 minutes of Quran.

For Arabic we hand out world lists each term to help children build their vocabulary and confidence. The children are expected to learn how to read and write it. To help the kids with their pronunciation and learning the word list, we created a youtube channel showing how to read and pronounce it.

For Quran, the teachers practice with the children at least 3 ayah, subject to their level. The children are expected to practice the same ayah at home as homework. These increase every level. Adhaab and Tarbiyah are taught in English to allow the children to maximize the benefit and allow the children to understand easier. Ayah and Hadith are kept in Arabic but translated in English with key words as well. On top of the Islamic Booklet, we also supply the children with a notebook, diary book and a Madinah book (or exercise book if in Reception).

The school is split up into two different times, AM and PM. 1 child can not do both.

AM- 9:45-12:45

PM- 13:15 - 16:15

The available levels at Hira School are divided into the following classes.

Reception - Reception+ - Year 1 - Year 1+ - Year 2 - Year 2+ - Year 3 - Year 3+ - Pre GCSE - GCSE

To progress from one level to another, children will be taking 3 tests at the end of each term to ensure they reach their target.
